This is an aromatic and delicious evoo. Zitna Bnin is a store label of épicerie, Mon Coin Nature, in La Marsa, Tunisia. The store owner told me the Sahli variety, which I hadn’t heard of before, was what people “in the south” call the Chemlali variety. A Tunisian friend told me Sahli means coast. I can confirm that “Coast” in Tunisian Arabic is Sehel. (or Se7el / ساحا) In terms of aroma and taste, very distinguished nutty and fruity flavour. A thick body that’s high in tasting intensity and spicy. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this evoo as a finishing oil.
