Hopefully I’m not the only one that smells a bit of dough from this olive oil, might sound a bit crazy but I could only smell a strong dough flavour with a hint of citrus. Interestingly enough the taste was very light and almost unnoticeable
Beautiful smell. Floral and soft, with a creamy and bitter taste. It’s great for sipping and enjoying them with elegant food. I personally like it a lot.
Very strong smell, at first it had a strong fruity smell to it but then I mostly noticed lime with a very subtle hint of banana. The taste is much more subtle than the smell
For the price, this is such an excellent peace. The smell was very ripe, with some strong notes of ripe banana fixed with some kind of citrus. The taste reminds me of Mana2ish from Lebanon, it’s strong and spicy, with some great tones of flavors.
Personally I’m a big fan of olive oils that lean more towards having a grassy/earthy flavour and this really doesn’t disappoint. I mostly got an artichoke flavour with a hint of nuts
Having tried the Hojiblanca, this one being a blend between that and Picuda, there definitely is a difference in taste and aroma. I found it to smell sweeter than it tasted but I did like it.
I wasn’t the biggest fan but could do well for cooking purposes. I found it quite thick and it had a long lasting after taste which didn’t suite my palette.
