A nice, sweet evoo with moderate spice. On smell and taste: Cut grass, green bananas and nuts. Spiciness is moderate, body is a bit below moderate and tasting intensity is medium.
Floral, veggie, & cut grass on smell. The smell also alluded to that it would be spicy. As the juice hits the bottom of the glass it bubbles a bit. On taste green bananas, floral, fresh olives, veggies & buttery in texture. Spice was present but less than I anticipated. Body was light and flavour intensity was medium. Good oil for sipping. I paired it with Alicante-made paella and it paired well.
On smell ripe bananas. On taste bananas with hints of citrus and nuts. This is a light bodied evoo with a low flavour intensity. Spice is present but low and quick. It appears to be an economical evoo and will likely be compatible with cooking.
A spicy and high-quality evoo. On smell green tomatoes and lots of greens. (Veggies) Similar experience on taste. A high degree of spice that lasts for a bit. Not too buttery in texture. The body is medium to a bit below medium and the flavour intensity is moderate to a bit above moderate.
This is a hot evoo. (In spice that is) Smell is high in green banana. On first taste there is a buttery rush of veggies followed immediately with a heavy and long amount of spice. I’m very happy I found this evoo and for anyone wanting to experience an extremely spicy and tasty evoo I recommend.
A good evoo. It’s one of the spiciest I can remember to date. It’s prominent notes are tomato & veggie. Its body is medium and flavour intensity moderate.
A creamy and well-balanced evoo. In flavour there are prominent flavours of green banana, green tomato & veggie. Its spice level is high, its body is above medium and its flavour intensity is moderate.
On first smell green banana, cut grass and almond. Something about the smell indicated too to me that the texture would be creamy. This evoo didn’t let me down–On first sip a creamy texture flushed my mouth. On taste, notes of veggie, chocolate, green banana, and almonds. Body is medium and flavour intensity is moderate.
A decent evoo. The prominent tasting feature in this evoo is nuts, and secondary, green banana. The smell was okay but not magnetic. The bottle reads “This product is manufactured on the same packaging line as soybean oils, nut oils, sesame oils.” So I wonder how that will have affected its taste. It has a delayed moderate spice. Its body is medium and flavour intensity moderate. May be a good evoo for someone wishing to experience a nutty tasting Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
On smell this EVOO has a really ripe banana smell. On taste a blast of ripe banana as the prominent note. I’m very happy to have found it. The spiciness level is low to moderate. Its body is a bit above medium. It’s flavour intensity is moderate. Its texture is creamy. A good EVOO for sipping.
A sophisticated evoo. On first smell cut grass, green banana & green tomato. On taste, an immediate sensation of fresh olives from a tree, followed by green banana, cut grass, & in ambiance, a bit of nuts. As these notes are being experienced a strong but reasonably moderate spice becomes present. The body is moderate. Its flavour intensity is moderate to high. Overall a premium evoo.
it’s changing in your throat, it’s strong in the beginning, then it softens to a sweet, nutty and creamy. worth trying, and I’m wondering how it tastes in food !
Soft, harmonious, and a bit spicy. it reminds me of my childhood days in my grandmother’s house in Tunisia. it can be in a salad and it is good for dipping bread.
Lah neya tastes and smells light for me. It tastes buttery and a little sweet. the taste doesn’t stay long in your mouth. it vanishes after minutes i recommend it for kids and Bsisa preparing
A very thick & hazy evoo. On smell it’s reminiscent of wood and nuts. On taste the same with a high buttery texture. It’s a nice evoo to sip on. Its body is thick (one of the thickest I’ve come across to date) and its tasting intensity is somewhere between moderate and high. It’s spiciness is low.
This is a light and buttery EVOO. It’s very easy to drink—A good starter EVOO for someone new to EVOOs. This is also a good EVOO for first-of-the-day-sipping. (I’m drinking it most days while in Tunisia after waking up) Its flavour intensity is low, its body is light and it has a low but present amount of spice.
A smooth, spicy, buttery & well-balanced olive oil. I bought this EVOO from a boutique in La Marsa, Tunisia, directly from one of the store keepers, whose orchard the olives come from. This EVOO is medium in body with plenty of banana between ripe and green.
There aren’t many options for olive oils at the grocery stores in Canada, and at a reasonable price. However, this one seems very good tasting and priced well.
This review is for the Lah neya brand. This EVOO is low in flavour intensity. Its body is light. Its dominant flavour is ripe banana. Its smell and spiciness is low to none. Overall it’s a smooth, well-balanced & pleasant EVOO.
A light-flavoured EVOO. The dominant flavour is ripe banana with a little bit of nuts. Spiciness is present but interestingly delayed but lasting for several minutes. The body is light.
I found this EVOO in an outdoor fruit display at a corner store in Valletta, Malta. Perhaps this EVOO comes from the family of the store, but that is currently unknown. I was happy to find this EVOO. It’s very high in walnut flavour, low but present in sp
This EVOO packs a lot of flavour. I was happy to find it in a grocery store in Malta. It’s notably high in spiciness, the sensation of which lasts for sometime. The body is thick. The flavour level is high. And the flavours are strong in wood and nuts.
This EVOO brings a high green banana flavour immediately with notes of citrus in the background. The spiciness level is low to none. The body is light. And the overall flavour level is moderate. This is not a complex EVOO but it’s pleasant and easy to sip in the mornings. Would likely add some flavour to a salad.
This is a thick, hazy EVOO that is on the woody & nutty side in taste with a good level of spice that lasts at the top of the back of the throat for some time. I consider this a very high-quality EVOO and recommend it to others.
A nice, sweet evoo with moderate spice. On smell and taste: Cut grass, green bananas and nuts. Spiciness is moderate, body is a bit below moderate and tasting intensity is medium.
